HE CAME AND IS COMING

The Holy infant Child arrived
in a time of much confusion.
No one looked for their Messiah
to this world with private intrusion.
Flocks of sheep were under the care
of quick caring shepherds that night;
when a host of heavenly angels
filled the sky with a radiant light.
The shepherds were excited when
hearing the news of an event.
They left their flocks without worry;
swift to an infant's manger went.
They met the special baby Jesus,
they spread the good news to all kin.
His special reason for coming
a world from bondage, He came to win.
Jesus shed His blood on a cross,
with out a blemish to His name.
In human form with out complaint,
with Love Divine, He bore our shame.
God's son died, quietly, quickly.
No bone needed to be broken.
He defeats death, He lives again.
Triumph in Jesus is spoken.
Jesus promised, "I will return."
Taking with Him obedient believers.
Hearts filled with Heavenly oil will
join all 'Crown of Life' receivers.
