Encircled

God touched the moon and felt it sigh --
a silent heave, an ageless cry;
a teardrop rolled across the sky
and crystallized before it fell...
A snowflake kissed a seedling's shell
that rested under winter's spell.
When summer reached its zenith high,
a flower wakened, pale and shy;
I touched its leaf...and felt it sigh.
